Normal routine this morning … breakfast, packed up, got gas and hit the road. We only had 30 miles to our first stop, no thanks from the El Paso RV Parks. Ya know since we had to back track to New Mexico to find an RV Park.
We make it to the first stop and it is a big hit with the co-pilot. He spend $123 on patches and we were back on the road. What is this … the speed limit is 80mph, nice smooth highway and very little wind … heaven. We do the next 240 miles in three hours and need to stop and get gas. It really sucks the gas at 80mph and the stupid gas stations cut you off at $75 around here if you pay at the pump.
Since we stopped and we are making good time we decide to eat lunch out at a local Mexican restaurant. Nothing special here except the woman! What is in the water in this small town? While we where in town we saw four ladies … all extremely gorgeous … all extremely nice. It was totally like the movie The Stepford Wives …
Okay we need to get out of there before we started Real Estate shopping. We get back on the road and wrap up the final 120 miles in an hour and a half. We make it to Ozona, TX and hit the local grocery store for some supplies … wow what a difference 120 miles makes in the ladies. Then we head to the RV Park.
The co-pilot decides it time to use the bathroom so he is out of his seat. I am doing about 20mph and someone ran a stop sign … I hit the brakes. The co-pilot comes flying out of the bathroom spins around and falls on the bed. He standup tries to pull his pants up and I accelerate … back on the bed he goes. He is down for the count!
We make it to the RV Park and get us checked in. In the office the smell of Curry is unnerving … it is like I can see the yellow in the air. The co-pilot has made his way back to his seat while I was checking in and is a little frustrated at me. I explained it would been a lot worse for him if I actually hit the car … but it did little to suffice.
We got set up and I took Chopper for his death walk. I walked him until his took a crap … come on it is day 4 and time to crap. After about an hour of walking he hit his limit and could no hold back any more.
