Hello there. I know it is day 3, but all things considering I think I am doing pretty good at actually getting a blog up!

The last three days can pretty much be summed up in a choice few words: driving, eating, and sleeping.  Nuf said.

Today was our first full day in Yellowstone. Who knew there would be snow EVERYWHERE? How annoying. Beautiful, but annoying. Not only is snow annoying, it is cold, wet, and hurtful.  Buffalo were pretty cool….Especially since we were in the park all of 4 seconds and we happened upon a whole herd of them.  Jonathan was very excited as were the boys.

The town that we are staying in is just outside of the West Yellowstone enterance.  It is one of the bigger towns I have seen in Montana….it is 6 blocks by 6 blocks. We found this really cool mom and pop deli place that provided us with an amazing lunch. But with all good things, there has to be a drawback. This town SHUTS DOWN at sundown or earlier. Even the McDonald’s was dark when we drove by at 8PM. Also, you know that annoying thing on commercials when a program time is announced, “Starting at 9 PM 8PM Mountain Time” WE ARE IN MOUNTAIN TIME….I thought it was just some sort of media ploy to confuse me, but it does exist.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. We were in Utah. Anyone who knows me knows that I am slightly obsessed with Mormons and Mormonism..Utah did not disappoint. There literally was a Mormon church every 10 minutes on the highway…. I wanted to go to Temple Square in Salt Lake, but Jon didn’t think it was such a good idea for me to go alone on a time budget schedule day……I made him promise me that I could visit the Mecca to Mormons on the way home……I CAN’T WAIT!!!

On that cheery note, I have to go to bed. The big boys want to go take pictures at sunrise, which means that I will be on baby watch all morning. I will post pics sometime (maybe) Enjoy JJ’s pics….Hopefully I will blog more later and I will try and do better at it in general.

Much Love

Peace!
