I woke the co-pilot up at 7:30am so we could make our breakfast commitment he made with Steve and Todd.  Packed up real quick and make the trek over to the shop.  We got the ten cent tour and headed out for breakfast.  Went to a goof little restaurant with so very good eats.  After breakfast we returned to the shop, said out goodbyes and headed out.

We stopped got some gas and a Persian Gas Station, that was a first for me … I did not realize they existed.  From there we headed to our first shop for the day, co-pilot got patches, NO special issues, NO patch sleeves and a new one District Patches.  I guess he is starting a new collection.

We made the three hundred plus mile trek to the next stop where the co-pilot obtained patches, special issues and NO patch sleeves.  I took Chopper for a walk while he was in there so he could empty the bladder.  When I got back inside … we now had a side trip.  We followed a guy to his house to do a little patch trading … well that is what they said … I was sure it was to be killed.

We spent about an hour at the dudes house, co-pilot and him trading patches … fun times for all.  We got all packed up and ready to head out and the dude would not shut up.  He just stood at the window and kept talking.  I kept saying alright we need to hit the road … which his response was a question.  He even asked the same questions multiple times.  At one point he asked if we wanted to stay for dinner … soup and crackers … nope dude, we need to go.

We made the remainder of the ninety mile trek to Green River, Utah.  The name of this town appears to be a farce or maybe we have not driven far enough yet.  We got to the RV Park, got set up, feed and took Chopper for a walk and the co-pilot had ice cream for dinner.  Tomorrow we will in Las Vegas, Nevada, staying there for two nights them an early drive home on Monday.

Until tomorrow …

A Persian gas station is one that sells Persian stuff, rugs, food, etc. Yes that is the Eisenhower tunnel …

Thanks for checking out our website.

What is a Persian gas station anyway? One owned by someone of Persian descent? Also, is that picture of the Eisenhower tunnel?
